The mystery of ancient Egypt

The discovery of an almost untouched tomb in 1922 remains one of the most significant archaeological finds in history, and more than a hundred years later, the mysteries surrounding the pharaoh's life and death still captivate millions of people around the world. Now historical knowledge and modern technology bring this fascinating history within reach.

TREASURE CHAMBERS

The exhibition takes visitors into the Egypt of the pharaohs, the era of Tutankhamun, and the ancient treasure chambers. Historical knowledge, together with precise replicas of original artifacts arriving from Cairo, opens a window into the culture, beliefs, and astonishing splendor of ancient Egypt.

360° AUDIOVISUAL EXPERIENCE

At the heart of the experience is a striking 360-degree audiovisual spectacle that surrounds visitors with the landscapes, temples, and stories of ancient Egypt. Projections up to six metres tall, music, and storytelling carry you back thousands of years and into the world of Tutankhamun.

STEP VIRTUALLY INTO ANCIENT EGYPT

Modern technology takes the experience even further. A VR experience transports visitors to the ancient Egyptian afterlife, while an interactive virtual world lets you travel to the Valley of the Kings in the year 1922 to follow archaeologist Howard Carter's expedition and the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb.

HISTORY MEETS IMMERSIVE STORYTELLING

Created in collaboration with Egyptologists and historians, the exhibition is grounded in historical and archaeological research. Under the direction of curator Nacho Ares, the history of ancient Egypt, storytelling, and modern technology come together into a whole where history is not just observed, but experienced.
